FALL 2018

 

TUESDAYS:

  • Toddler Music Program - 11am
    • Children ages infant - four! Come learn basic rhythm skills and enjoy dancing, music and movement! Must be registered.
**HOLIDAY SESSION (Nov 13 - Dec 18) FULL**
Check back for registration information for the next session in the new year.
  • Knitting - 6:30pm
    • Come knit, crochet, or needlework, and feel free to bring questions! All levels and beginners welcome!
  • Game Night - 7pm
    • Mahjongg, Cribbage, your choice! All levels and beginners welcome!

 

WEDNESDAYS:

  • Mahjongg - 10am
    • Come to learn and play - all levels and beginners welcome!
  • Preschool Storytime - 10:30am
    • Bring your preschoolers to read some books, make a craft and eat a snack!
  • Bookmobile - 10:30am
    • If injury/illness keeps you from the library, we’ll come to you! Call us with your requests.

 

THURSDAYS:

  • Block Island Peace Project 2018 - 5-6pm
    • The Island Free Library invites you to join every week as we gather to listen, consider, & discuss Peace from a variety of viewpoints.

                             11/1 -  Susan Matheke: Introduction & viewing of Young Men, a dance                                      film featuring dancers from BalletBoyz, depicting the horrors of war.

                            11/8 - Molly Fitzpatrick, Steve & Eileen Miller, Joanne Warfel, &                                      others: International Songs of Peace

                           * SUNDAY 11/11 @ 12:00 pm - Final Event: Remembering Armistice                                     Day: "Songs of Peace & Justice" with the UkuLadies

FRIDAYS:

  • Fun Fridays - 1pm
    • Alternating weeks of Arts & Crafts, STEM, Wii & LEGOS. Healthy snacks provided.
