As the COVID-19 situation progresses, we are continuing to follow the recommendations of town and state and will be CLOSED until April 15.  Closure will be reassessed as things develop and we ask our patrons to check back periodically for more updates.

We encourage everyone to abide by the town’s declaration to shelter in place.  Remembering that staying in your own home as much as possible is best for everyone.  The library staff is working hard to bring you virtual programs, electronic resources and up-to-date information.  We are working with state agencies and other public libraries to do this effectively.  As with other rural communities in the state and across the country the challenge is adequate Internet service.  Please know- we are working on that as well!  We will be using all available outlets – this website, our social media pages, the Block Island Times and the BIBB- to keep you current on our plans and our programming.  We wish you good health.  Stay in and Stay well.

Please remember that WiFi is always accessible outside of our building, 24/7.
