Last Best Book Kristin Read: Once There Were Wolves by Charlotte McConaghy
Why Kristin Liked It: I was happy I kept with this book because it really got good. The murder remains a mystery until the end, the romance is honest, complicated and sweet, as are the family dynamics of all the characters, and the wolves are intense! The smallness of the rural town setting and the divisive issues the residents and visitors confront resonated with me but the wolves and their purposeful reintroduction to the Scottish Highlands was totally intriguing and fascinating. I felt a lot of emotions during this read and learned even more!
