Join us at the Island Fre Library for an exciting journey into the world of ferns with Dr. Emily Sessa, a cherished friend and long-time visitor of Block Island. Emily, the Director of the William & Lynda Steere Herbarium at the NY Botanical Gardens and author of “Ferns, Spikemosses, Clubmosses, and Quillworts of Eastern North America,” will guide us in identifying Block Island ferns using the BI Fern key. For more details, feel free to reach out to Kim Gaffett at Kim.Gaffett@tnc.org.

Free event, all welcome!
