Indigenous Cultural Exploration with the Tomaquag Museum – (Kids Program – NO Preschool Storytime!)

We are thrilled to welcome Tomaquag Museum educator Lorén Spears for a day of learning & exploration for all!

Join us for an exploration of indigenous culture with her traveling cultural exhibit, traditional music, and dance. Create your own traditional Hubbub game to take home and play with your friends!

Kids program at 10:30AM & Family program for all at 1:00 PM!

Lorén is an educator, activist, author, and Indigenous artist. She is the executive director of Tomaquag Museum and founder of the Nuweetooun School affiliated with the museum. Lorén is a 2017 winner of the Tom Roberts Prize for Creative Achievement in the Humanities from the Rhode Island Council on the Humanities, and in 2010 was named as one of 11 Extraordinary Women honorees for teaching and education.
