Join us on Saturday, October 10 from 11am-4pm for Indigenous Peoples Weekend at Island Free Library.

We’ll be hosting members of the Manissean Tribe for a special celebration featuring music, children’s history and coloring activities, community exhibits, resource tables as well as videos on the island’s Indigenous timeline.

We are also honored to welcome a special guest, Maryann Gobern Mathews, a representative of the Manissean Tribe, who will be available to answer questions as well.
