Welcome to the Kids page at Island Free Library! We are committed to providing excellent service to children from birth through fifth grade, and to their families. In the Kids Area, you’ll find fiction and nonfiction books, graphic novels, audiobooks and nature backpacks, all available to check out.
Looking for something to do after you finish a book? Try a puzzle or board game. While you’re here, children can also enjoy crafting, games, a sensory wall, and our new Toy Library, with a large selection of toys available to check out. There is also a dedicated space for both preschool and grade school readers.
The library offers a variety of programs for kids throughout the year, so be sure to check the events calendar! Our staff is always happy to help you find a book or answer a question. We invite you to visit and explore all the wonderful things the library has to offer.
