The Library Underground at the Island Free Library is Teen Space, and is designated for young adults in grades 6–12. It is located in the lower level of the library and is stocked with a growing collection of books and graphic novels. Comfortable chairs and a couch are available for reading and relaxing, and we also have tables for studying. New Traveling Toys games are available for borrowing! Check out a manga, graphic novel or a YA book or page through our resources for an upcoming SAT or ACT test. Challenge a friend to a game of chess or try out your dancing skills with our Wii. Wifi is available throughout the building. Staff and librarians are available to answer questions regarding reference or if you need help finding something else in particular — come check out the Underground!
