The Library Underground at Island Free Library is our Teen Space, designed for young adults in grades 6–12. Located on the lower level of the library, it features a growing collection of books and graphic novels, along with comfortable chairs and a couch for reading and relaxing. There are also tables available for studying.
We’ve also added new Traveling Toys games available for borrowing! Stop by to check out a manga, graphic novel, or YA book, or browse our resources to help you prepare for an upcoming SAT or ACT test. You can challenge a friend to a game of chess, or test your dance moves on the Wii. Wi-Fi is available throughout the building, and staff and librarians are always happy to answer questions or help you find what you need.
Come check out the Underground!
